Privacy Policy

Last updated: 21 May 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data Electo (“Electo”, “we”, “us”) collects when you use our QR code platform (the “Service”), why we collect it, and the choices and rights you have. We designed Electo to collect as little as possible and to keep your data on our own infrastructure.

1. Who is responsible for your data

Electo is the data controller for the personal data described here. For any privacy question or request, contact privacy@electo.pro.

2. What we collect

3. How we use your data

4. Legal bases

We process your data to perform our contract with you (providing the Service), on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the Service secure and improving it, to comply with legal obligations, and — where required — with your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.

5. Cookies

We use only essential cookies. For details see our Cookies Policy.

6. Sharing your data

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use third-party advertising or tracking networks. Scan analytics are processed on our own servers. We share data only with the limited service providers strictly needed to run the Service (such as a payment processor when you buy a paid plan), and only as far as necessary, or where we are legally required to do so.

7. Data retention

We keep account and content data for as long as your account is active. When you delete a QR code or your account, the associated data is removed from active systems within a reasonable period, except where we must keep limited records to meet legal, accounting or security obligations.

8. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit, hashed passwords and hashed IP addresses — to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep risk low.

9. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, correct, export, restrict or delete your personal data, to object to certain processing and to withdraw consent. You can manage and export much of your data directly in the app, or contact privacy@electo.pro and we will help. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

10. International users

Electo may process data on infrastructure located in one or more countries. Where data is transferred across borders, we take steps to ensure it remains protected to the standard described in this policy.

11. Children

The Service is not directed to children. You must be at least 16, or the age of digital consent in your country, to create an account.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, communicated to you.

13. Contact

For any privacy question or request, email privacy@electo.pro.
